The Restaurant

This stunning dining room opened in May 2003, to compliment the construction of the Modern Asian Gallery. The Restaurant provides for over 100 formal diners and possesses a scenic
anti-bar/reception area of 45 additional seats. The kitchen is headed up by Chef John McFadden who has conjured a sparkling lunch menu where full flavoured food compliments the harbour view.

The Restaurant is fully licensed and the wine list accommodates all by the glass.

Adjoining the Restaurant is a dedicated function space that shares vistas over Woolloomooloo Bay and catering for additional 120 seated guests. This can be booked for private functions during and after Art Gallery normal trading hours.

The Restaurant has disabled access and amenities.

Gallery Café

The Gallery Café is a smart deli-café that is based immediately outside the Temporary exhibitions gallery with inside and outside seating peering down at the Woolloomooloo Bay. This café caters to the majority of walk-in exhibition visitation and key membership groups. It is also licensed (beer & wine only), and open on Wednesday evenings in conjunction with vibrant Art After Hours that features lectures, seminars and local jazz in the café.
