The Sydney Mint Café
The Sydney Mint Café combines modern Australian cuisine with the splendor of one of central Sydney's oldest and historically significant buildings. Situated adjacent to Hyde Park Barracks the Mint straddles the land between Macquarie Street (opposite the Australian Supreme Court) and the Domain. It is the new home for the Historic House Trust from September 2004.
The café is fully licensed, with an expansive verandah that provides the perfect location for alfresco lunches above the bustling Macquarie precinct below. Coffee and snacks are served daily with the daily newspapers at the Cafe's communal table.
Open weekdays - 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
