Consistent with their tradition of quality, all Exedy racing and performance clutches are designed, engineered and built as race clutches, not rebuilt from stock clutches.
For example, unlike other manufactured performance clutches, Exedy clutches are not made of grey cast iron from rebuilt stock clutches, but pressure plates which are newly constructed from Ductile (rodular) iron for your complete safety in harsh performance conditions.
Exedy racing clutches with organic friction materials utilise only premium materials to provide maximum resistance to slippage and burst. These clutches can also accommodate modified engines due to increased clamp loads.
