The Sydney Pet Grooming Centre in Kogarah is offering what is believes to be a first for Sydney - a career course in dog and cat grooming. The course runs for 28 days, Monday to Saturday, with the hours flexible to suit the student's needs. "The reason we have offered the course with international instructors is to cut out some of the shoddiness in the industry, but we also get a huge kick out of providing employment to people who need an alternative job".
