The work of the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales is guided by the view that museums must be part of current debates, open to new ideas and play a vigorous role in the cultural life of the city.

Properties
Thirteen properties of historic significance are owned and managed by the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales. Eleven of the 13 properties are open as museums and in 2001, close to two million people enjoyed some aspect of the Trust's diverse portfolio.

We offer some of the city's most eclectic and vibrant museums, including a wide range of events and exhibitions that enrich and enliven our fascinating properties.
