Established in 1955, Hutchings Pianos is a family business with three generations of experience buying, selling and renting quality pianos. We are family owned and operated, and all our staff have musical backgrounds.

Hutchings Pianos is an agent for new Yamaha, Alex Steinbach, Beale, Ritmuller, Samick and Kurzweil brands. We also have an extensive range of good quality, pre-owend upright and grand pianos at very competitive rates for private and event hire or purchase.

We also stock piano stools, selected sheet music, metronomes, music stands, lamps, statuettes and other accessories.

Our customers are typically beginners of all ages, performers, piano teachers and accomplished pianists who play just for their own pleasure.

Parents who want to give their children a strong foundation in music can feel confident that they are dealing with a trusted and long serving  retailer. Many of our customers are also third generation and have bought and sold  back to us several times as their requirements have grown or changed.  

On our website you can view some examples of our constantly changing stock of pianos. We will generally have more than 50 for you to choose from. If you call or email us today and we haven't got exactly what you want, we will endeavour to source it for you at a very fair price. We do recommend however that you visit our shop in Sydney's eastern suburbs to sample our range for yourself.
