Sydney’s premier, and possibly Australia’s longest running live music venue is located in the heart of the city near Circular Quay and the Opera House.

Located at 29 Reiby Place, between Loftus Street and Pitt Street, getting to The Basement is simple with buses from most areas of Sydney having a Circular Quay destination, as well as the City Circle Train line stop at Circular Quay.  Taxis are mostly plentiful around the area with a rank on Loftus Street, only 30 seconds from our front door.

Parking is never easy in the city but, with a number of stations in the area, you’ll never be too far away.  Discounted parking is available to The Basement members.
