Gabor Balogh began his violin making studies in Hungary in 1976.

He studied at the Hungarian School of Violin Making, a highly renowned and competitive school which based its teaching on strong European traditions.

In 1995 Gabor Balogh completed his master training in Hungary and has been accredited with a Master Violin Maker and Restorer Diploma, which is the highest attainable qualification in the profession.
