In 1989 Gabor Balogh arrived in Australia and worked for a short time in Melbourne. Later, he moved to Sydney where he worked as a contractor to most of the violin shops.

Since 1994 Gabor Balogh has been operating his violin-studio in Sydney which services every level of player, from professionals to students.

His present customer base consists of eminent performing artists around the world, members of Australia's leading Orchestras, teachers and students.

In 1997 Gabor Balogh become the luthier to the Goldner quartet.
