 Parklands Sports Centre

1) Does Public transport go near the Centre?
Yes. Parklands is easily accessible by bus. Regular services run from Central Station, Circular Quay and Bondi Junction. We have two bus stops directly in front of our centre on Anzac Pd and one on our left on Lang Rd. Phone 121 500 for bus timetable details.

2) Can I use the "Entertainment Voucher"?
Parklands Sports Centre welcomes the " Entertainment Voucher". You can use it any day of the week for casual court hire or Private Tennis Lessons. Make sure you bring along your voucher to the centre so we can validate it.

3) How do I know what standard I'm at?
There are many ways to categorise yourself, but the quickest way is by knowing your serve.

Beginner: You are unable to serve at all or dont really know what a serve is.
Intermediate: You are serving at about 10-50% and putting it into play.
Advanced: You are serving at 90% or better and putting it into play.

4) Can I join Legends Netball if I don't have a team?
Teams are always looking for individual players to join them. You must register with Legends.  Then we can either help you find a team.

5) Is there a cap park at the centre?
Yes, we do have a small car park that you can enter from Lang Rd. However our spaces are very limited. Fox Studios also offers two hours of parking free.

6) Can I hire tennis racquets and tennis balls?
It is $5 and a form of ID to hire a racquet for as long as you play. We do not hire tennis balls, but they are available for sale in tins of 3 and 4 Slazenger grass court balls.
