The Sydney Jewish Museum opened in 1992 is recognised as a world-class museum and is an integral part of cultural life in Sydney.
Two permanent exhibitions are presented
THE HOLOCAUST
The Sydney Jewish Museum takes you on a moving journey through the events of World War II that led to the final solution of the Holocaust. To be guided through the exhibits by a Survivor is a humbling experience that brings Jewish history alive in an overwhelming way.
CULTURE AND CONTINUITY
The Museum ground floor exhibition and interactive displays outline world Jewish history since biblical times and Australian Jewish history from 1788, where you can discover the contribution of Jews to Australian society. One fascinating feature is the timeline of world events and Jewish events.
