An opportunity not to be missed.
Windmill Performing Arts and Theatre of Image have joined forces to present one of the world's great classic adventure stories for children, Robinson Crusoe, from Daniel Defoe's novel of 1719.
A giant supernatural storm drags Robinson Crusoe from his sinking ship. The lone survivor of the shipwreck,
he awakens the next morning, far away on a strange and deserted island. For 24 years he has no human company
until one Friday he rescues a prisoner. Friday - wild child of nature - changes Crusoe's perception of the island into a rich adventure in paradise. It becomes a life shared with nature's exotic birds, plants and animals
until a ship arrives.
Kim Carpenter's imaginative stage setting is enhanced with state-of-the-art digital video, extraordinary puppetry and illusions.
'Wonderful
will enchant both children and adults'
