The Salvation Army offers a myriad of employment training and placement programs under the umbrella of its Joblink service. It is aimed at assisting the long-term unemployed and preventing unemployment. The programs are listed below, or contact (02) 9831 4247 for more information. 'Time Out' - providing assistance to junior high school students at risk of leaving school early.

'HELP' - Located in Blacktown, the Helping Early Leavers Program assists early school leavers aged 15-25 years with further education, training and job-seeking.

'Salvo Job Team' - Case management for the long term unemployed. (Blacktown and Surry Hills). 'Mature Workers Program' - Assistance for unemployed people over 40. (Blacktown and Liverpool). 'Joblink Skillshare' - Vocational training and access to job seeking
