Luna Park is literally all smiles with the opening of a new comedy club within its bounds. The Ha Ha Harbour Club, the brainchild of Darren Sanders (The Laugh Garage Comedy Club in Parramatta) and the ultimate in comic management, Gillian Levett, kicked off its first laugh on Thursday 5 June '08 and will continue every Thursday night.

The initial premiere featured Fred Lang, our A-Class troop entertainer recently returned from Iraq, Matt Okine and Mickey Gee. Future cracks will come from many of our best comedians, including Gary Eck, Eddie Lift and Tommy Dean.

The Ha Ha Harbour Club is just one part of Luna Park's expansion into general comedy, making the most of its signature smile. There are plans for comedy classes, corporate humour training (which will hopefully have an effect on interest rates?) and comedy sports lunches.

Who could think of a more ideal night than warming up with a cocktail, a sumptuous meal and dose of comedy from the best harbourside location Sydney has to offer?
