The Australian Brandenburg Choir and Orchestra kicks off the Christmas celebrations for 2008 with their annual Christmas performance, Noel! Noel!. A collection of festive music from the renaissance and baroque periods, Noel! Noel! has become somewhat of a Christmas tradition for classical music-loving Sydneysiders. This year the choir and orchestra are joined by guest soprano soloist Jane Sheldon, and three young singers who last sang with Brandenburg in 2003 as boy trebles and have since developed into exceptional tenors and baritones.

Jane Sheldon herself possesses an exceptional voice; a voice that has become familiar to many after one of her recordings topped the UK iTunes classical music chart. Since embarking on a professional singing career at the age of 15, Sheldon has sung with some of Australia's finest orchestras and ensembles. Her recent success has resulted in her singing at the Royal Festival Hall at the request of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and recording a pop version of one of her songs with the lead singer of pop group St Etienne.

Sheldon reunites with the Brandenburg Orchestra in 2008, as artistic director Paul Dyer leads a collection of period instruments and exquisite voices through Christmas celebrations that will have you in the mood in no time at all.
