Editorial Review
Although the Trinity Pub has been around for years and years, you've probably never actually entered the place, perhaps due in part to its not-quite-pure-Darlinghurst location (it's more towards Cleveland than Oxford Street). Situated on the corner of Crown and Devonshire Streets, it's an extremely handy pub at which to meet friends pre-or post dinner-slash-social-engagement.
There's a small balcony out the front (smoking permitted) where one can sit and watch the world go by while sipping pints of lager of a nice Appletini. Any Irish or British punters will be suitably impressed by the large range of English and Irish beers and ciders on tap (such as Bulmer's), as well as by the apparently very correctly poured Guinness.
The food is also cheap and tasty - proper pub grub without being pure stodge - and the atmosphere, even on a crowded Saturday night, is convivial and laid back. The Pokie room is situated well apart form the main bar, which may be an added bonus for those not keen on the stench of human weakness. A popular and refreshingly pub-like hotel, for Sydney's trendy inner city.
