Editorial Review

Located on level one of the award-winning Sheraton on the Park hotel, Botanica Brasserie offers a sumptuous international buffet that will have you quickly working out an eating strategy to ensure you sample every delicious morsel on display. Elegant and spacious, Botanica Brasserie has expansive views over the green lawns of Hyde Park but you’ll find it hard to tear your eyes from the array of seafood, salads, hot dishes, cheese platters and decadent little desserts lining the gleaming marble buffet stations. New dishes are brought out every day to the delight of hotel guests and diners, so you could eat at Botanica Brasserie every day for a week and still have something deliciously different to look forward to.

Executive chef, Ewald Jeske, has taken inspiration from his time spent in kitchens throughout the world to offer a tantalising taste of international cuisine. Design your own degustation from the myriad of dishes on offer. Begin with freshly shucked oysters, Crystal Bay prawns or a selection of sushi. Friday to Sunday sees lobsters in a variety of different sauces and glazes gracing the plates of diners. Succulent roast meats such as crispy pork leg and beef with herb and mustard crust pair beautifully with the selection of vegetables, or treat your tastebuds to an exotic curry. It will be a challenge, but you must try to save room for the desserts. The miniature creme brulee is divine or satisfy your inner child with a towering sundae with all the trimmings.
